Book Review: Sock 'n Boots Share by D. K. Smith

I love reviewing books for Olivia. She loves it when we read books to her. Recently I had the chance to review another book for her called Sock 'n Boots Share by D. K. Smith. This book teaches children how to share. I was really excited to read it to her because I have been trying to teach her to share with her sister. She's at the age when everything is hers. In fact she loves to say mine and I'm the owner.

Olivia really loves Sock 'n Boots Share. She loves the bright colors and fun characters. I like that they use simple words and rhyming which makes it easy for kids to understand the importance of sharing. We read this book many times. It's definitely one of her favorite book.

Other book in the series are Sock 'n Boots Afraid of the Dark and Sock 'n Boots Play it Safe. I'm sure Olivia will love them too.

Tag*a*long Review and Giveaway

A few weeks ago I was blog hopping and I came across a review of the tag*a*long and I was really intrigued. I wanted to see if it actually works. So I contacted them to see if I can review it.

What's a tag*a*long? It's a simple, fun way for kids to walk comfortably next to a stroller or a cart. You simply attach it the stroller and it requires no tools and it provides a dedicated and fun place for kids to hold onto.

Libby hates being in the stroller and since Emma is always being carried in my Ergo or lillebaby we usually do not bring a stroller with us when going to places such as grocery store or the mall. She likes to be independent and wants to walk. Most of the time I end up chasing her everywhere and constantly calling her to walk beside me.

When I found out I will have a chance to review tag*a*long I showed the website to my daughter and let her pick the color she wants. Of course she picked the raspberry because her favorite color is red. I also showed her pictures of kids using the tag*a*long so she will know what it is for.

When it came she was very excited and I could not wait to use it too. My husband however looked at me like I'm crazy. He thinks it will never work specially with my daughter. She would not even hold our hand, why would she hold a piece of plastic!

That same day we went grocery shopping and I took tag*a*long with us. I attached it to he cart and she knew exactly what to do. We walked to the parking lot and to the grocery store and she did not let go of it. My husband was so amazed! He could not believed that it actually works..actually until now he's still wondering why my daughter does not mind holding on to it when we are out. The funny thing is that every time we use it kids would look at it and there was one child who actually started holding it. I thought it was the funny thing.

Another reason to love tag*a*long is that it is bpa free and very affordable. You can purchase one for less that $10. I know I will definitely get one for Emma when she starts walking.

Minnie Mouse Costume Review from Costume Super Center

I was really excited to review a costume from Costume Super Center for my daughter. She loves to play dress up. And when you have kids specially little girls, you can never have enough costumes for them. Not only she wears it at home for playtime but she also gets invited to dress up party.

Costume Super Center has so many costumes to choose from. She loves princesses so I really thought she was going to pick a princess costumes. But instead she picked a Minnie Mouse costume. She loves Minie but I would have never thought she would like to dress like Minnie. I even tried to convince her to pick any of the Disney costumes such as Cinderella but she made up her mind...so Minnie it is!

When the costume arrived she tried it on right away. It was packaged well. It even came with a headband. The quality is a lot better compare to other costumes she owns. I love that the fabric is not too thick that she can wear a shirt under and not get hot because she will be wearing it mostly at home for playing. She's very comfortable in it. In fact she wore it the whole day!

If your are looking for kids Halloween costumes definitely check out Costume Super Center. They have tons of selections. They have costumes for everyone for girls, boys, womens, mens infant and toddler. They even have plus size and sexy costumes.

Since most likely Libby will be using the Minnie Mouse costume on Halloween, I'm planning to get Emma the same one. I asked Libby if it she would mind if they will match but she said no. She wants Emma to wear an alien costume...poor baby girl.

Stay Hydrated with Hydration Station!

This is a Sponsored Post written by me on behalf of Haws. All opinions are 100% mine.

New_hswbottle_hr

Did you know there are millions of plastic water bottles end up in landfills everyday? And despite of our recycling efforts only very little percent of those millions are recycled. That is why as much as possible our family has given up buying bottled water, instead we use filtered water and reusable bottles. Not only we are reducing wastes we are saving money by not buying bottled water.

I recently came across Hydration Station. It is a touch-free, filtered water dispenser for reusable bottles and containers. I think they are perfect for office buildings, schools, hospitals and gyms. Not many people that work in office bring reusable water bottles at work because 12 oz container is not enough water to drink for their whole 8 to 10 hour shift. They find it more convenient to buy bottled water in vending machines when they are thirsty. I know when I was working full time in the hospital, I never brought a reusable bottle at work for that reason. The Hydration Station would be perfect for those places. Employees and students could save hundreds of money a year!

I love the way it looks and the fact that it is touch-free! If you want to learn more about Hydration Station you can visit their website.

Need help finding a good floor steam cleaner...

I have been wanting to buy a floor steam cleaner. I never owned one and I heard it cleans really well. I can't afford expensive one so anyone knows a good one that's affordable?

Here's what I'm thinking of getting....

FS-20 Steam Cleaning Floor Sanitizer - thinking of getting it in CSN Store.

Dirt Devil Easy Steam Deluxe - the cheapest one but I don't know if it's any good.

If you use one, I would love to hear what brand you use. I have been looking for reviews but can't find one....Thanks!

Gorton’s Seafood Review and Giveaway - FIVE Winners!

Last month I had the opportunity to review Gorton’s Seafood's Lemon Herb Breaded Fillets. We loved it so much that we bought it a few times already. I was thrilled when I was contacted again to do another review and giveaway. This time I was sent a few coupons to try other varieties.

My family was never into frozen seafood until we tried Gorton’s Seafood. They are very easy to prepare. When I am home alone with my kids, I don't always have a lot of time to cook , that's why I love Gorton’s Seafood because I can make a quick healthy lunch for my daughter.

Olivia loves the Classic Breaded Fish Sticks. Honestly though, she doesn't know it's fish. She hates trying new things and when I told her it's fish she would not touch it. When I told her it's chicken she tried it and loves it. For now I will let her keep thinking it's chicken :) The Classic Breaded Fish Sticks is very quick and easy to prepare. it's ready to eat in 15 minutes. We even it them for snacks!

Another one we tried is the Crunchy Golden Popcorn Shrimp. We've enjoyed eating it as snacks while watching TV. It's definitely another favorite of ours. And once again, very easy to prepare..my kind of cooking :)

How would you like to try Gorton’s Seafood? I'm giving away coupons for any free Gorton’s Seafoods and they have so many to choose from. There will be FIVE winners and each will receive 2 coupons each.

Essential Swimwear Review and Giveaway!

I hate shopping for bathing suit...specially two piece bathing suit. I always have a hard time finding a perfect fit because I need a bigger size top and smaller for the bottom. And the one thing I hate is when my top keeps riding up and shows my stomach. I end up wearing a shirt or tank over them because they are not very flattering and not comfortable at all.

That is why I love Essential Swimwear. They understand what many women want, swimsuits that are comfortable, stylish and flattering. I was sent a pair of swimsuit to review, the Ebony Ruffles Halter Top and the Black Skirted Bottoms. I love that you can mix and match the top and bottom. You can even get a different size for each one. They make it easy for you to find the right fit with the help of their size chart and fit guide.

I love the Ebony Ruffles Halter Top. It fits really well. It does not goes up and expose my belly each time I'm carrying my 9 month old baby. I don't have to keep pulling it down every minute, instead I can enjoy swimming with my kids! It gives you enough coverage to hide your flaws. Not to mention it is very comfortable!

I also love the Black Skirted Bottoms. The length is perfect. It even comes with a pair of sewn-in basic bottom so the skirt is all you need. After having kids and gained more than 20 pounds I'm not comfortable to show off my body, specially my thighs so this skirt is perfect for me.

If you're looking for a swimsuit that will fit you perfectly, definitely check out Essential Swimwear. They have so many tops and bottoms to choose from at an affordable prize. They also offer free shipping on all exchanges!

Thanks to Essential Swimwear, one of my readers will win a swimsuit of their choice!

SnapMe Swimwear Review and Giveaway

The weather has been really hot lately that we have been going to the beach, water park and pool whenever we get a chance. The one thing I hate is when I have to change my kids diaper when they are wearing a bathing suit because the only way to do it is remove the whole thing. But I don't know who hates it more, me or my 9 month old daughter. She cries and scream each time. It's such a hassle!

I never realized how badly bathing suit are designed until I came across SnapMe Swimwear. Finally there is a better way to change diaper when my kids are wearing a bathing suit. It's just like a regular bathing suit but with snaps at the crotch like a onesie. Changing a diaper under a bathing is finally a breeze!

I was sent the blue floral bathing suit to review for Emma and I love it. I love the prints and the bright color. It actually looks a lot better in person. I got the 6 month to 12 month size and it fits Emma perfectly. She's very comfortable in it. She wore it last week when we went to Hurricane Harbor. Usually I don't let them wear their bathing suits until we get there specially if it's more than an hour drive just in case I will have to change them. But this time I don't have to worry because she's wearing a SnapMe Swimwear!

Another great thing about SnapMe Swimwear is that they carry up to 4T size. So even your bigger kids can wear them. It's not just for easy diaper changing. When they go to the bathroom they don't have to pull down their bathing suit, which is great because you don't want your kids bathing suits touching those nasty public bathroom.

You can purchase a SnapMe Swimwear for $29.99.

One lucky reader will win a SnapMe Swimwear.

Culturelle Probiotic Digestive Health

I don't have any stomach problem except for occasional cramps, discomfort, bloating after eating certain food. When I was contacted to review Culturelle Probiotic Digestive Health, I was a little hesitant because I usually do not like taking pills aside from my regular multivitamins. But I decided to give it a try.

About Culturelle Probiotic Digestive Health

Culturelle is the only probiotic dietary supplement containing Lactobacillus GG, the ³good² bacteria strain used to restore and maintain a healthy balance in the digestive system.

It is all-natural, and does not contain any wheat or gluten. There are trace amounts of dairy proteins (less than 15 ppm in each capsule), but it is also available in a dairy-free formula.
Culturelle works to help promote overall digestive and immune health. Diet, stress, travel and even some medications encourage bad bacteria to flourish in your intestinal tract. When bad bacteria outnumber good bacteria, your digestive and overall health is open to a host of potential concerns. Culturelle, with Lactobacillus GG, safely and naturally replaces the bad bacteria in your digestive tract with good bacteria leading to healthier digestion and a stronger immune system.

Unlike most-probiotic-fortified foods, Culturelle gets to where health benefits are needed the most! The Lactobacillus GG found in Culturelle is one of the few probiotics that survives the strong acids of the stomach and intestines and then has the ability to colonize the intestinal tract (where 70% of the immune system resides).

I have been taking Culturelle Probiotic Digestive Health for a couple of weeks and I have not experienced any bloating or cramps since taking it. I don't know if it's because of it. But will continue taking it to find out. If you have any digestive discomfort such as bloating or gas definitely check out Culturelle Probiotic Digestive Health. And also check with your doctor to make sure your symptoms are not serious.

Disclosure: I was contacted directly by Culturelle. Above information was provided to me. I was provided a sample for the purpose of reviewing it. This is my honest opinion.

Review: got2b Smooth Operator Smoothing Lustre Lotion

I recently had the opportunity to try got2b Smooth Operator Smoothing Lustre Lotion through BzzAgent. I have been using it for a few weeks and I really love it. It's smells really good. I use it after I shower with my hair wet before blow drying or ironing my hair. It leaves my hair soft and manageable. Most of the time my hair is dry and frizzy after I blow dry it but when using the Smooth Operator Smoothing Lustre Lotion my hair is smooth and less frizzy.

I've tried applying it when my hair is dry but I prefer using it before blow drying my hair. I love that it protects against damage from heat styling and contains a UV protectant. I don't have to worry that it will damage my hair. It's also affordable compare to other styling product. It cost about $7 and you only need a little bit so one bottle will last you for a while!

Disclosure: I received the product mentioned from BzzAgent. This is my honest opinion. Yours may be different. No other form of compensation was given.

Charter On Demand Goes Beyond Movies

This is a Sponsored Post written by me on behalf of Charter. All opinions are 100% mine.

Ondemand-1

My daughter loves to watch TV. She watches Nickelodeon all day. Two of her favorite shows are Dora and Backyardigan. For that reason, my husband and I never get a chance to watch our shows. According to her, she's the owner of the TV! Even though she's not exactly in front of TV or she could be playing in the playroom she still like to have the TV on.

If we really want to watch a certain show or movie, we try to hide the remote control so if she ask to change the channel, we tell her the remote is gone. Sometimes I purposely put the battery the wrong way so it will not work and we tell her it's broken...I know bad mommy. But that's only if I'm watching my favorite show such as American Idol :)

But did you know there is a better way? Charter TV offers thousands of shows and programs. You can even watch the latest movies. There are literally thousands of free shows for every interest. Kids shows, workout videos, concerts, cooking shows and every other specialty show. And the best part you can watch them whenever you want. My husband and I can finally watch our favorite shows or watch the latest movie while our kids are sleeping. We will never miss a show anymore!

You can visit On Demand home page to see all the shows and movies they offer. And while you're there You will ‘Like’ their Facebook page as well.
