Holiday Gift Guide: Little Green Books (Updated with Giveaway!)

I've said it before and I'll say it again..My kids love books! They have tons of them and I don't mind buying them more because they love reading. They don't know how to read yet but they enjoy having their dad and I read them books. That is why children's books are my favorite products to review on this blog.

I was really excited when Little Green Books sent me some of their books. Little Green Books is a new eco-friendly books from Simon & Schuster Children's Publishing Division. Each of their books is devoted to educating children about the benefits of being green. Their books not only teaches to be "green" they are also environmentally friendly. They are printed on recycled materials with vegetable or soy inks.

They sent me several of their books and Libby and Emma love them! I really like them too! I am impressed with the quality of the book. They are very durable and well made. I would not even think they printed on recycled materials. They can definitely withstand a lot of reading and abuse by a toddler! I don't see them falling apart anytime soon. In fact we had it for more than a month and they still look brand new!

This Is Our World: A Story About Taking Care of the Earth.
This book is Libby's favorite because it comes with 9 double-sided puzzle pieces. She can create two different puzzles. This book teaches your child how to have a clean air, reduce pollution, and recycle in a very simple and fun way that kids, even a 3 year old can understand.

Don't Throw That Away!: A Lift-the-Flap Book about Recycling and Reusing
This is another book that Libby really likes. I teaches kids how to recycle and what things can be reuse. She loves lifting the flap. This is definitely a fun book!

What Do You See?: A Lift-the-Flap Book About Endangered Animals
This is another favorite book Libby loves to read all the time. I would think she would be tired of reading this book because she already knows what animal is hiding but nope! She still ask me all the time to read her this book. Another great thing about this books is it is made of 100% recycled material.

My First Garden
This is not one of Libby's favorite but I really like this book because it has a handle die-cut through on every page so kids can take the book with them wherever they go and they are cute. I also like the story. It's about mother and daughter making their first garden. It also teaches kids colors.

Little Monkey
This book is perfect for Emma. It's a cloth book and made from 50% recycled material. It even came in a 100% recycled box. What's great about this book is it is also machine washable. Great for babies that loves to chew!

Little Panda
Is another cloth book. I really like that both Little Panda and Little Monkey are in the book. The story is very simple and fun!

It's not a surprise why I am including Little Green Books in my Holiday Gift Guide. We love them and highly recommend them!
